Valiant Retire, Inc. supports OCO’s Giving Thanks 60 Years of Action Celebration

FULTON – Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) welcomes Valiant Retire, Inc. as a Gold Level Sponsor for the agency’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing event. Presented by G&C Foods and Eagle Beverage, OCO’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing serves as a fundraiser for OCO’s 60 Years of Action. A Lifetime of Impact. initiative, celebrating six decades of service to individuals and families throughout Oswego County.

OCO’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing features some of our area’s most popular restaurants and eateries including Old City Hall Barbecue and Brewery, Ji-Woo’s Korean Seoul Food, Canale’s Restaurant, Kiyomi, GS Steamers Bar and Grill and more.  Each will be serving up one of their signature menu items, expertly paired with a beverage to compliment the flavor.

“My years working with large corporations have shown me how often nonprofit organizations have to ask for help and make the case for meaningful support,” said Valiant Retire President Chad Wilkinson.“Oswego County Opportunities doesn’t have to make that case to me. I live and work in Oswego County, and you can see OCO’s work all around us, in its buses and vans, in food getting to people who need it, and in the homes and programs that help our neighbors. Much of this happens quietly, even though it makes a real difference. I’m proud, as a local business owner, to make a meaningful contribution to an organization that gives so much back to the community we share.”

OCO’s Giving Thanks celebration will be held Friday, November 6^th at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, 26 East First Street in Oswego. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by one of Central New York’s most celebrated performers, Just Joe. There will also be a number of prize drawings, a wine pull, and a silent auction featuring a collection of unique items.
