Ralph Edward Draper Jr., 60, entered into eternal rest on Saturday afternoon. He was husband of Ida Yates Draper. Residence; North Charleston, SC.
The family and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Draper are invited to attend the funeral service of the former on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc, Northwoods Chapel at eleven o’clock. The family will receive friends in Stuhr’s Northwoods Chapel 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston on Monday evening August 11, 2008 from five until seven o’clock.
Ralph was born January 13, 1948 in Fulton, New York, the son of Ralph E. Draper and Viola McEwen Draper. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 1970 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War from 1966-1967. He retired from the North Charleston Police Department as a Sergeant, was Past Master of Pythagorean Lodge #21, and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Surviving are, one son, Ralph E. Draper III and wife Alicia of Tampa, Florida; three daughters, Elke M. Walton of St. Augustine, Florida, Tara M. Walton of North Charleston, SC, and Kimberly Draper Samenko of Hanahan, SC; three grandchildren, Charles McGowan, Skylar Samenko, Jocelyn Samenko, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harrison E. Draper.
Ralph will be dearly missed by the Blasczienski families, the Allen families and all of his other friends and relatives from Fulton.
