OSWEGO, NY – Angelina R. (Angie) Stevens, 83, a resident of 314 E. 10th St., died on November 12, 2007, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego on July 1, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Nancy (Natoli) Saltalamachia and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
She was a homemaker, who enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Henry Stevens; two daughters, Marilyn (Robert) Earle and Sally Stevens; two grandsons, Robert and Christopher Earle; four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Brandon, Cassandra and Gwen Earle, all from Oswego; five sisters, Mary (Larry) Taormina of Oswego, Anna Pacific of Pulaski, Lucy Woodard of Oswego, Jane (Robert) Wedge of Florida, Shirley Lafave of Oswego; three brothers, John (Hazel) Saltalamachia of Oswego, Bart Saltalamachia of Oswego, Joe (Kathy Saltalamachia of Oswego; nieces, nephews; and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
She was predeceased by her brother, James Saltalamachia; and her sister, Nancy Saltalamachia.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
