OSWEGO, NY – Ann Bernot, 93, a resident of 78 E. Albany St., died on Monday Sept. 28, 2009, at St. Luke Health Sevices.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Antiantonia (Miceli) Taorminia and had attended Oswego schools.
Ann was employed with Columbia Mills where she meet her future husband of 62 years, Edward J. Bernot.
Edward was employed at Goldberg’s Furniture for many years.
Mrs. Bernot was also employed with Conn Knitting and was a homemaker.
Surviving besides her husband, are her daughter, Gloria Bonito of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; and nieces and nephews among whom are David (Karen) Decaire of Scriba.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
