Arthur E. Bocko, 94, 05/25/2008

FULTON, NY – Arthur E. Bocko, 94, of Fulton, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at A.L. Memorial Hospital, Fulton, after a short illness.

He was born in Oswego, NY, to the late Alex and Josephine (Martel) Bocko.

He had been a resident of Fulton for most of his life.

Mr. Bocko was a veteran having served in the US Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945.

He retired from Columbia Mills, Minetto, and he was a past member of St. Louis Church, Oswego.

Mr. Bocko is a communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton.

He was a member of the Fulton VFW Post #569 and the Oswego County Coin Club.

Mr. Bocko was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Alice G. Bocko of Fulton; his beloved daughter, Mary C. Wacker; devoted son-in-law Dustin Wacker; and much loved grandson, Craig Wacker all of Fulton; his brother, Earl (Patricia) Bocko of Minetto; his brother-in-law, Thomas Goss; sister-in-law, Anna Goss both of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

There will be no calling hours.
