Audrey M. Johnson, 86, a resident of 172 E. 4th St., Oswego, passed away, Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota she was the daughter of the late Kemp and Frances (Trexler) Meyers.
Audrey was employed as Oswego Family Court Stenographer.
She loved swimming at the YMCA, she was a member of RSVP and she was a very competitive and successful duplicate bridge player- life master and member of the American Bridge Association.
She was an avid sports fan of her children and grandchildren, was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving is a daughter, Linda (Joseph) Shannon of Oswego; two sons, Timothy (Patricia) Johnson of Sunset Bay, Scriba and Brian (Jamie) Johnson of Audubon, New Jersey; one sister, Beverly Stewart, Minneapolis, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Spencer Johnson, Jacob Shannon, Roger Shannon, Rosa Grace Johnson, and Rachael Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Cecelia Johnson, Miceala Montaro, Oliver Johnson and Mattheo Montaro; one step great-grandson, Joshua Montaro-Shannon, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 9a.m. Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego, with Rev. James Tschudy officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
