OSWEGO, NY – Carmella G. Battista, 89, a former resident of Herrick Street, Oswego, died Wednesday Nov. 19, 2008, in St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
She was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late John and Anna Battista.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa Hibbert, Jenny Battista, and Rose Peterson.
Ms. Battista was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.
She is survived by her brothers, Michael Battista, Pat (Rose) Battista, and Samuel (Anna) Battista all of Oswego; and her sisters, Frances (John) Hibbert of Oswego, and MaryAnn (William) Pierce of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Oswego.
Burial will in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
Calling hours will be held Friday 3 – 6 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
