Carolyn Lee “Romeo” Draper, 55, a resident of 3021 St. Rt. 48, Oswego, passed away July 27th, 2008 at home.
Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of Eugene M. (Colette) Romeo, of Florida and the late Nelda V. Byram Romeo.
She received a Dual associate’s degree from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY.
She previously worked at UPS as a Damage Control Clerk.
She was a member of the Master Knitters Guild of America and a brown belt in Judo and Aikido.
She loved watching thunderstorms, gardening, woodworking, knitting, photography, reading, cats, bird watching, computer games, music, playing the piano, flute and clarinet.
Carolyn managed her daughters’ soccer team for 8 years. Her biggest joy was taking pride in watching the accomplishments of both her daughters as they grew from infants to adults.
Surviving besides her father is her husband, Thomas “Slick” F. Draper, two daughters, Serena Rose (A.J.) Draper of Fulton and Emily Jean Draper of Oswego; one brother, Thomas Romeo of Syracuse; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W.Albany St., Oswego.
Calling hours will be held from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
