Cecilia Siembor, 88, a former resident of 116 W. Eighth St. and Simeon Dewitt Apartments, Oswego, passed away, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at St. Luke Health Services.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Siembor.

Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Cora (Kilbourne) Foley.

She graduated from Oswego State Teachers College in 1943.

Cecilia taught at St. Mary’s School in Oswego and retired as director of Religious Education in 1986. She also substituted in the public schools.

Surviving are three daughters, Cecilia (Brian) McLaughlin, of Liverpool, Nancy Siembor and Tom Brown, of Ithaca, Natalie Siembor and Patricia Michel, of Oswego; two sons, Jim (Tonya) Siembor, of Akron, Ohio and Thomas (Marjorie) Siembor of Fairport; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., April 5, at St. Mary’s Church, Oswego.

Burial will be held privately.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 p.m., April 3, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
