OSWEGO, NY – Danny R. Whitney, 53, a resident of Oswego, died on Nov. 7, 2008, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Robert and Agnes (Russell) Whitney and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
He was a social member of VFW #5885 and a SAL of American Legion #268.
Surviving are his brother, Randy (Debra Davis) Whitney of Hannibal; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Robin Whitney.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
There are no calling hours.
