OSWEGO, NY – Doris A. Denny, 62, a resident of 736 State Route 104 B, Mexico, died on June 30, 2008, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Doodletown, NY, she was a daughter of Amy Stallter and the late William Bailey.
She attended Doodletown and Highland Falls schools.
Doris was employed with the West Point Laundry and the Helen Hayes Hospital.
Surviving besides her mother are her husband, Mark Denny; two sons, Michael (Lori) Treadway of Aylett, Va., and Kevin Treadway of Colorado; a daughter, Michelle (Randy) Bond of Missouri; a brother, Raymond (Karen) Bailey of Georgia; a sister, Brenda (Thomas) Miller of Fort Montgomery; three stepchildren, Mark (Carrie) Denny of Mexico, Angela (Jorge) Allazo of Germany, and Ashley (Tim) Denny of Palermo; eight grandchildren, Katelyn, Bayler, Autumn, Ashley, Ryan, Dylan, Teal and Hayley; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas Bailey.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Lycoming United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Dowdle Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Lycoming United Methodist Church Building Fund, County Route 29N and Miner Road, Lycoming NY 13093.
