Dorothy E. Pepper, 68, of Volney, died Tuesday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. A native of Fulton, she was a life resident of the Fulton-Volney area. Dorothy was the daughter of Leon and Gertrude (Parker) Weldon. She was predeceased by a son, Nelson Pepper, Jr., who died in 2005.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Nelson Pepper, Sr. of Volney; her children, Christopher (Julie) Pepper of Volney and Carol (Scott) Pecoy of Volney; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel (George) Reese of Somerset, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 6 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with calling hours from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Volney.
