Dorothy I. Gardner, 82, of 32 Brandy Brook Lane, Phoenix, died Saturday, July 12, 2008.
Born in syracuse to her late parents, Joseph and Anna (Trytek) Kuta. Dorothy was a line operator for Syroco Co., Baldwinsville, for 28 years, retiring in 1991.
She was predeceased by her late husband, Harry M. “Skid” Gardner, in 2003; two sisters, Jane Warzecha and Arlene Fiato; stepmother Eleanor (Krzyzak) Kuta.
Surviving are three sons, Harold “Joe” Gardner, Michael Gardner, and Mark Gardner and his wife, Chun Son Gardner; four sisters, Margaret Crimi, Phyllis Corper, Michaeline Driscoll, and Kathleen Furco; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Phoenix United Methodist Church, 49 Jefferson St., Phoenix, NY. The Rev. Constance L. Seifert will officiate. Burial in Onondaga Veterans Memorial Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Contributions to the church.
