Edward F. Kosiewicz, 92

Edward F. Kosiewicz, age 92, passed away on November 21 in Louisville, KY.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Julia and Victor and his wife of 20 years, Rosamond.

He will be sadly missed by his long-time companion, Evelyn A. Vorse of Oswego, NY and his loving daughter Michele (Shelley) Kosiewicz of Louisville, KY; sister, Loretta Karecki, brother, William Kosiewicz, niece, Debbie Ritskes and her husband, Randy Ritskes, and grandnephew, Steven J. Kunelius (Ritskes) all of Oswego, NY; and nephew, Joseph Karecki of Tampa, FL, and special friends, Pascale Alard and Derrick Moore of Louisville, KY as well as a host of other family and friends.

Edward was a World War II veteran and an alumnus of Syracuse University.

He worked as an investigator for the federal government for 30 years.  He loved to read, and discuss politics, science, philosophy and the arts.  He will be remembered as a caring and generous father, brother, uncle, companion and friend, and a gentleman.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30a.m. Friday at St. Stephen’s Church, 138 Niagara St. Oswego. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.

Donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research instead of flowers.
