Elaine Salvador, 76, a resident of 195 East Eighth St. Oswego, passed away July 4, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Scriba, NY, she was the daughter of the late William K. and Marion (Bateman) Guile.
Elaine was an avid Syracuse Basketball Fan. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sports game and cooking.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Joseph F. Salvador, a daughter, Joanne (George) Geroux; four sons, John Salvador, Joseph (Kathy) Salvador, James Salvador and Thomas Salvador; a brother, Ronald (Teresa) Guile, all of Oswego; seven grandchildren, Joseph Salvador, Francis Salvador, Josh Donaghue, Matthew Salvador, Chelsea Geroux, Zachary Salvador and Caitlin Geroux; one great-grandson, Austin Salvador.
Private family services will be held Wednesday, with private family visitation Tuesday 4-7pm. at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
