Eugene Tracy, 85, 06/23/2008

FULTON, NY – Eugene Tracy, 85 of Bradenton, Florida, died suddenly at his home June 23, 2008.

He was born in Fulton, and was a resident of Fulton for most of his life before moving to Florida 25 years ago.

He was retired from the United States Postal Service.

Mr. Tracy served on the Fulton Board of Education for several years.

He was past president and a life member of the Fulton Polish Home.

He was a founding member of the Gaucho’s Drum and Bugle Corps and a member of the Florida Elks.

Mr. Tracy was an original member of the Fulton Athletic Booster Association.

He enjoyed bowling and golfing.

Mr. Tracy is survived by four children: Eugene J. Tracy of Fulton, Gail (Raymond) Godici of Mexico, Judy Tracy and Laurie Tracy both of Syracuse; his two sisters, Helen Regan of Baldwinsville, NY, and Sophie Hart of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. July 2 at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, at a date to be announced.

Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home.
