Evelyn C. Wood, 72, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at her daughter’s home.
She loved to crochet and to spend time with her family. She will be missed dearly. She was predeceased by her companion, Frank Mitchell and her son, Billy.
Surviving: seven children, Ann, Laura, Larry, Marshall, Francine, Keitha and Chester; 23 grandchildren, Michael Wood, Amber, Michael Barzee, Quinton, Monica, Michael Burke, Rickey, Brandon, Noah, Aaliyah, Leanne, Missy, Matthew, Bethanne, Travis, Shawn, Jamesha, Ann Maria, Bobby Jo, Amy, Morgan, Jordan and Corbin; 26 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton with a graveside service to follow at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
