Florence E. Shepard, 74

Florence E. Shepard, 74, of Granby, died Friday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton.

Born in Fulton, Florence was a long time resident of the area before moving to Melbourne, Florida in 1988. She and her husband then moved back to the Fulton-Granby area in 2000.

Surviving: her husband of 37 years, Harrison Shepard, Jr. of Granby; children, Kenny Shepard, James Shepard, James Smith, Cathy Butler, Harold Smith, Harrison Shepard III and Joanna Hussong; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with a 7 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, Georgia.
