OSWEGO, NY – Frances Castle, 79, a former resident of County Route 25, Oswego, died Wednesday June 11, 2008, at Seneca Hill Manor.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Oleyourryk.
Mrs. Castle was employed as a custodian for Oswego County Savings Bank, and she worked in the food services department at Oswego Catholic High School.
She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Castle, in June 2000; and her brothers, Joseph, John, Edward Oleyourryk; and her sisters, Helen Fultz and Sally Lisk.
Mrs. Castle is survived by her son, Al (Sharon) Castle of Tully; daughter, Peggy Lipsett of Liverpool; sisters, Mary (Mike) Falise and Patricia (Earl) Bocko; brothers, Jack (Rosemary) Oleyourryk of Latham and Raymond (Irene) Oleyourryk of Oswego; three grandchildren, Brian Castle, Brandon Lipsett, and Jessica Lipsett; and several nieces and nephews, and her faithful companion, Basha.
Graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday July 25 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
