OSWEGO, NY – Freda M. Burdick, 86, passed away on Saturday Aug. 15, 2009, at the Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Schroeppel, she was a daughter of the late Seymore and Hazel (Abrams) Hoatling and had attended Vermilion schools.
Mrs. Burdick had been employed with the Nestle’s Corporation.
She was a member of the Marine Corps Auxiliary and loved to crochet.
Surviving are her children, Sharon (Elton) Baker of Fulton, Sandra (Sam) Bradford of Oswego, Richard (Terry) Burnett of North Carolina, Larry (Bonnie) Burnett of Georgia, Gearld Burnett of Ira, Karen Burnett and Kathy Burnett both of Elbridge, Robert (Alice) Burnett Jr. of Fulton; a sister, Betty Burnett of Fulton; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at the Oswego Alliance Church at a date and time to be announced.
