HANNIBAL, NY – Corinne Ann “Connie” Meade, 80, of Hannibal, NY, passed away at Oswego Hospital on Sunday June 4, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born in Syracuse, NY to her late parents, Violet L. and James Raymond Carpenter on March 24, 1943.
She was a graduate of North High School, and later from nursing school in Syracuse, NY. Connie went on to work at Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton, NY. She spent 35 years in healthcare.
Connie had been a parishioner of St. Stephen’s Church in Phoenix, NY. Connie loved being around family and enjoying activities together. She loved playing games on her I Pad, and birdwatching to name a few.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband for over 40 years, Timothy I. Meade, Sr. on August 4, 2007; a brother Donald Carpenter.
Surviving are her son Timothy I. Meade, Jr. (Kim) of Phoenix; her daughters Michele Meade (Mike) of Brewerton, NY, and Cindy Roffo (Mick) of Hannibal; six grandchildren Rodney Crouse, Jeremy Crouse, Melissa Quinn, Nicky Tritten, Tiffany Tritten, and Mike McGuire; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are on Friday June 9, 2023 from 2 to 5 p.m. A brief service at 4 p.m. with Deacon Jeff Dean officiating in Connie’s honor will occur. Calling hours will then continue through 5 p.m. all in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main Street, Phoenix, NY 13135.
A private burial service will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
