PHOENIX, NY – Garrett W. “Gary” Bloss, 66, of the town of Hannibal, NY, passed away at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY, on Tuesday April 24, 2018.
He was born to his late parents, Elizabeth (Storen) and Norman T. Bloss, on April 17, 1952.
He had been an employee of Eagle Comtronics in the town of Clay, NY.
Gary loved being outdoors.
He was an avid fisherman, too.
He was a C. B. operator with the handle “Fender Bender.”
Gary was predeceased by his son, Corey Bloss; and his brother, Norman T. Bloss.
Surviving are his companion of 30 years, Jean Gardner; his daughter, Shanon Bloss; his son, Gary E. Bloss; his step-mom, Doris Bloss; other family members Kenneth Gardner, Eric Gardner and Tonya Gardner; several half-brothers and half-sisters; many grandchildren; one great-granddaugher, Zaylee Armstead and Zaylee’s mom, Mariah Hillborn.
Calling hours will be held on Friday April 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Hodge officiating.
