FULTON – September 4, 2026, Frederick R. White, Jr., 79, of Fulton passed away Friday, September 4, 2026. He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on June 6, 1947 to Anna Kozlowski White and Frederick R. White, Sr. Fred enlisted in the U.S. Navy and travelled around the world as part of the Navy’s nuclear-powered submarine program. He proudly served until his retirement as a Master Chief in 1987. Upon his retirement from the Navy, Fred and his wife, Sandy settled in Fulton in 1989. Fred was employed for several years as a training officer at the Niagara Mohawk Power Plant in Scriba. Fred was a proud member of the CNYSUBVETS and remained active in his community. Above all, Fred cherished his family and never missed one of his sons or grandsons sporting events and was always there to cheer them on. His love, support, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed and forever be remembered.
He is survived by his sons, Frederick (Martha) White, III of Oswego and Joseph White of Fulton; his brother David (Colleen) White of Florida; his sister, Cynthia Iversen of Colorado; his grandsons, Trey, Freddy, Owen and Alex; his nephew, Ken Iverson and his niece, Allie Iversen. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Sandra White.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2026 with services to follow at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton.
