Leslie Ann Kistner

FULTON – November 21, 2024, Leslie Ann Kistner, 76, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend of Fulton, New York passed on to the loving arms of God on November 21, 2024 after a battle with heart disease.

Leslie was born on September 19, 1948 to Agnes Griffiths Bonney and Eldon Griffiths in Utica, NY who predeceased her. After graduating from New Hartford High School in 1966, Leslie married the love of her life Ronald (Ron) Kistner and they spent nearly 58 years together as husband and wife before her passing. Leslie was a wonderful and dedicated mother to 4 children, Deborah Kistner Martin (John) of Fulton, Joyce Kistner Horbas (Brian) of Baldwinsville, Richard Kistner (Kathy) of Fulton and Julie Kistner Hardies (Michael) of Amsterdam, NY as well as 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild who will miss her dearly. Mema was loved by all who knew her, especially her grandchildren. Leslie’s surviving family also includes her sister and brother and several nieces and nephews.

Leslie retired from Tri-county Heating and Air Conditioning, the business she and her husband so proudly built together and passed on to their son Richard upon retirement. She and Ron enjoyed spending time with friends and family and traveling, making friends everywhere she went. Leslie loved the beach where she and Ron would spend 6 months out of the year. She was proud to be an active member of the Fulton Elk’s Lodge #830 and often volunteered her time and talents to support those most in need. She received the high honor in 2013 being named “Elk of the Year”.

Leslie’s passing will leave a deep void in the hearts of all those who loved her but her legacy of love, kindness, loyalty and generosity will continue on long after her passing.

Calling hours for Leslie will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2024 with services to follow at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive, Fulton, New York. Condolences for the Kistner family may be left at www.brownfuneralhomefulton.com.
