Mary Ann Myers

FULTON – May 15, 2025, Mary Ann Myers, 87, of Fulton passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 in Syracuse. She was born September 12, 1937 in Fulton to Henry H. and Helen E. Truax Hines. Mary was a lifelong resident of Fulton and a graduate of Fulton High School class of 1956. She was a member of the State Street United Methodist Church. Mary had been employed at Oswego County Telephone Company, the Valley News and A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital.

Mary Ann’s life was centered around her home. She always welcomed family and friends when stopping for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. Mary Ann’s passion was her home and the many projects she always had instore for her hubby. Between the house and the landscaping, she was always willing to talk to people who complimented her about the nice scenery. Mary Ann was always outside planting, weeding and taking care of her gardens. Her nightly routine was for her and Ken to go out for a “ride” and to stop by a restaurant for dinner.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth H. Myers; her daughter, Michelle A. (Joseph, Jr.) Vant; her sons, Kenneth (Melissa) Myers, Jr. and Michael L. Myers; nine grandchildren, Elisabeth (Mike) Joy, Joseph (Chelsey) Vant III, Michael (Nicole) Vant, Curtis (Gwen) Vant, Ryan Vant, Paige Schremp, Konner (Shawna) Myers, Kasey (Carly) Myers and Blake Mason; 17 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Helen Mae Hines Baldwin; her brothers, Henry Hines, William Hines, Sylvester Hines, Joseph Hines and Robert Hines.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2025 with services to follow at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton. A private graveside service for the family will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery.
