Barbara J. Gardner

OSWEGO – Barbara J. Gardner, 84 of Oswego passed away Monday, April 3, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Francis L. and Jessie Haynes Cahill.

Barbara had been employed for many years with the NYS Division of Veteran’s Affairs and had helped countless Veterans in Oswego County over the years.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Gardner of Oswego, one son, Gregg Gardner of Texas, one sister Judith O’Reilly of Syracuse, one grandchild, Jared Gardner of Oswego.

Calling hours will be Monday April 10, from 4-7 p.m. at Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
