OSWEGO – Mary Agnes Joyce passed away Thursday morning at the Manor at Seneca Hill at the age of 87.

She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late William V. and Frances O’Neil Wallace.

Mrs. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Thomas E. Joyce who passed away in 2013.

She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Oswego.

At one time she was employed at the Palladium Times and had been secretary for many years for the Oswego Hospital Home Aid Service.  Mary was very proud of her Irish heritage.  In her personal time, she loved crafting, collecting cardinal birds, and shopping.  Mary was an avid traveler with her husband TJ, spending many winters in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Mrs. Joyce is survived by three children, her son Michael (Ellen) Joyce of Oswego, her two daughters Kathleen (Raymond) Place and Karen (Tom Crawford) Joyce both of Oswego, one daughter in-law Adrienne Joyce of Indian Lake Estates, FL, three brothers Francis (Mary Ellen) Wallace of Oswego; Edward (Mary Ellen) Wallace of Clayton; Jeremiah Wallace of Palm Bay, Fl, nine grandchildren, Sean (Melissa) Joyce; Carolyn (Eric) Botting; Colin (Karissa) Joyce; Thomas Place and Mikayla (Thomas) Bellucco; Anthony (Erika) Lazzaro; Andrew (Danielle) Lazzaro; Erika (Stephen) Dahar; Brandon (Katheryn) Foster, seventeen great grandchildren Connor and Logan Joyce; Emerson, Killian, and Wyatt Botting; Adeline and Finnegan Joyce; Dempsey Bellucco; Emilia and Salvatori Lazzaro; Giulia and Nico Lazzaro; Brantley and Brooks Dahar; Zachary (Jessica Sievers) Foster; Nicholas Foster; Alexander (Justine Johnston) West, two great-great grandchildren Hazel and Raegan Foster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son Thomas W. Joyce who passed away on December 17, 2023, her 2 brothers William Wallace and Ronald Wallace, and sister Sally Woods.

Calling hours will be 4-7PM Friday February 9th, 2024 at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home in Oswego.

Funeral services will be 10AM Saturday February 10th, 2024 at St. Mary’s Church and Shrine.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
