OSWEGO – Ralph J. Clark, Jr., 71 of Minetto died Monday in the Oswego Hospital.

Ralph was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Ralph J. and Rose Meeker Clark, Sr.

He worked from August 1, 1977 until May 1, 2009 as a fabricator at Alcan Aluminum in Scriba.

He was well known for his hockey skills and played many years in the Oswego Minor Hockey Association and the Oswego High School Hockey team.

He was an avid racing enthusiast and raced many years at the Oswego Speedway and Fulton Speedway.

Ralph was a member of the Minetto United Methodist Church.

He served in the US National Guard from 1972- 1985.

He is survived by his wife Susan Godfrey-Clark, two daughters, Heather (Frederick) McFarland of Fulton, Gretchen Clark of Oswego, four brothers Robert (Beth) Clark of North Carolina, Roger Clark of Oswego, Richard (Margie) Clark of Oswego, Timothy Clark of North Carolina, three sisters Debbie (Gary) Hammond of Oswego, Donna (Paul) Gayne of Mexico, Denise (Anthony) Scaparo of Little Falls, four grandchildren. Five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Andrew Clark and two brothers Randy Clark and Ronnie Clark.

Calling hours will be 1-3 PM Saturday, February 10, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3 PM and a gathering to follow in the church hall at the Minetto United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
