OSWEGO, NY – Anita L. Broadwell, 79, a resident of Volney, passed away on Thursday March 16, 2017, at St.Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse after a brief illness.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late William and Marie (Lewis) Kline and had attended Oswego schools.
She was the co-owner of the Fulton Donuts for 15 years.
Anita was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.
She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family who loved her dearly.
Surviving are husband of 57 years, Roger Broadwell Sr.; two daughters, Deborah (Bill) Scoville of Oswego and Cindy (Paul) Rountree of Dallas, Texas; a son, Roger Broadwell Jr. of Oswego; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Champion.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3 – 5 p.m. with a service to follow the hours.
Spring burial will be in Peck’s Cemetery.
