Catherine M. Proud, 73, a resident of Oswego passed away on May 16, 2024, at her home.
Born in Oswego, She was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Sharpe) Clifford and was a graduate of the Oswego High School, Class of 1968.
She was a self-employed seamstress for many years.
She enjoyed listening to country music and collecting Angels. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish & Shrine
Surviving are two brothers, Edward (Donna) Clifford of Oswego, Timothy Clifford of Fulton, daughter-in-law, Terri Proud of Fulton, two granddaughters, Laura (Richard) Wyant, Christine (Brandon) Wood, two great-grandchildren, Liam and Meredith and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Proud Sr., son, James Proud Jr., and her brother, George Clifford Jr.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1 from 1:00-3:00 with a service to follow the hours.
