Francis A. "Frank" Bouchard
OSWEGO – Francis A. “Frank” Bouchard, 78, a resident of Oswego passed away on April 27, 2026.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Paul and Carmen (Suarez) Bouchard. He graduated from the Oswego High School, attended SUNY Oswego and received his Master’s degree from Syracuse University.
He taught Chemistry at G. Ray Bodley in Fulton and was a School Psychologist at the Oswego Middle School and the Oswego High School. He also taught courses at SUNY Oswego.
Frank was a longtime member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians and a member of the Elk’s #271. He enjoyed woodworking, was a film buff, loved reading, was a great pool player, and was an avid Yankees fan.
He was a beautiful human who always saw the beauty in others. He was and is deeply loved and admired for his genuine kindness, generosity, brilliant sense of humor, and his ability to brighten everyone’s day. When asked how he was doing, he was known for saying “a lot better now that you’re here.”
Surviving are his children, Joshua Bouchard of Tigard, Oregon, Danielle Bouchard and fiancé Daniel Rhodes of Greensboro, North Carolina, and his partner, Tara Trovato.
He was predeceased by his sister, Paula Bouchard.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are in the care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
