OSWEGO, NY – Frank W. Lisk, 71, a resident of 1033 County Route 25, passed away at the family homestead on Tuesday Aug. 21, 2012.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sally (Oleyourryk) Lisk and had attended Oswego schools.
Frank was employed with the Oswego Country Club from 1961-1986.
He started as a groundskeeper before retiring as the superintendent in 1986 after 25 years of service.
He was later employed with the city of Oswego for 15 years.
He was an avid golfer for many years at the Oswego Country Club.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, the former Mary Bennett; a daughter, Patricia (Mike) Martin of Oswego; his sister, Patricia Castiglia of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph, in 1996.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from St.Stephen’s Church.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
