OSWEGO, NY – The Lord called Frederick H. Sweeney home on Tuesday January 1, 2013, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born on March 23, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer Sweeney.
He leaves behind “His Girls” and their families, Kathleen and Daniel Pecora of Oswego and their children, Kristina (Art) Bennett of Virginia Beach, Va., Daniel Pecora Jr. of Shelby, Montana and Dustin Pecora of Oswego, Patricia and R. Bruce Mehaffey and their children, R. Brian and Katherine of New Braunfels, Texas, and Sharon and Ronald Fehrman and their children, Zachary and Austin of Cicero, NY.
He also leaves behind his life-long friends, Richard and Debbie Meeks.
He was looking foward to the birth of his first great-grandson.
Frederick will be dearly missed and will always be remembered for his unconditional love, generous heart, hearty laugh and his tremedous sense of humor.
His wishes to be cremated were honored and services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
