Jacquelyn T. Comerford

OSWEGO, NY – Jacquelyn T. “Jackie” Comerford, 42, a resident of Oswego, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023, at the Oswego Hospital with her family by her side after a brief illness. Born in Oswego, She was a daughter of John and Ann (Williams) Comerford. She attended Oswego City schools and graduated from Oswego County Boces.
Jackie was an avid quilter at the Robins Nest Quilt Shop in Fulton, was part of the program at Oswego Industries through Oswego County Opportunities, and was formerly involved with the Special Olympics. Jackie lived a carefree, loving life that exceeded all expectations that were laid out for her.
Surviving besides her parents are three sisters, Jennifer (Bill) Braswell of Atlanta, Kelley (Brian) Greene of Oswego, Katie (Rick) Fish of Geneseo, nieces and nephews, Maggie, Jack, and  Avery Braswell, Nathan and Sophie Greene, Killian, Josie and  Logan Fish, special friend Chris Dix, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Comerford and Williams and her uncle, Greg Williams.
We should all live like Jackie, love freely, FaceTime, text, and call your family repeatedly just to say hi and that you love them.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:30 from Christ the Good Shepherd Church. Burial will be in St.Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 -7:00 p.m.

Jackie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Oswego Hospital intensive care unit for the gracious care they provided to Jackie and her entire family.
