James M. DeBiase, 71

OSWEGO, NY – James M. DeBiase, 71, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Thursday June 4, 2015, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Chicago, he was a son of the late Anthony and Lena (Paccetti) DeBiase and graduated from schools in Chicago.

He was employed as a truck driver and later as a chef.

Mr. DeBiase was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the United States Marines Engineering Corps in the late 1960s.

He loved his horse racing.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, the former, Terri Beshures; three sons, James DeBiase,Vincent DeBiase and William DeBiase all of Oswego; step-son, Glen M. Fadden; and four sisters.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at noon at the Journey of Faith United Methodist Church, 7721 State Route 104, Oswego, with a luncheon to follow the services.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
