OSWEGO, NY – Jeanne T. Giblin, 83, a resident of 550 W. First St., passed away on Wednesday April 13 at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in New York City, she moved to Oswego at a young age and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
Jeanne was employed with the New York Telephone Company for more than 20 years.
She was an active member of the Democrat Party back in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
Jeanne enjoyed her music and was an avid reader.
Surviving are her cousin, William (Lee) O’Brien of Newark Delaware; his son, Richard (Rita) O’Brien of New Jersey and his two children; and many friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Harry O’Brien; her aunt, Mary Caldwell; her uncle, William O’Brien; and her cousin, Katherine Caldwell.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Entombment will be in All Saint’s Mausoleum.
