OSWEGO – Margaret A. Rowlee, 86, a resident of Oswego passed away on May 22, 2024, at the Sodus Rehab and Nursing Center.
Born in Oswego, She was a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (France) Armstrong and was a graduate of the Oswego High School.
She was a Telephone Engineer with Alltel in Fulton and Ohio for many years.
She was a member of many quilting clubs and loved to quilt.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Eugene Rowlee of Oswego, a daughter, Julie Johnson of Oswego, one sister, Kathleen Stoner of Oswego, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two children, Marianne Gillette and John “Jay” Dumas, a brother, Richard Armstrong, and her sister, Patricia Bivens.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 with a service to follow the hours.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
