OSWEGO, NY – Mary B. Smith, 92, a resident of Oswego passed away peacefully on Thursday October 30, 2014, at the Seneca Hill Manor.
Born in Brockport NY, she was a daughter of the late William and Ella (Hickey) Cottom and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and playing bingo.
Surviving are her son, Ralph (Anna) Smith of Oswego; three daughters, Linda (David) Cianfarano of South Carolina, Debbie Smith of Florida and Denise (Charles) Smith of Oswego; a sister, Theresa Vescio of Oswego; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Smith Sr., in 2006; two sisters, Sadie Mueller and Margaret Woods; and her brother, William “Bud” Cottom.
Funeral services will be private and at the conveniences of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in St.Peter’s Cemetery.
