OSWEGO – Norma J. Barney, 86, a resident of Oswego passed away on June 17, 2024.
She was born on January 19, 1938, in South Hampton, New Hampshire, and graduated from the Oswego High School.
She was a rural postal carrier for the Oswego Post Office.
Norma was a member of the Philomena singers for many years.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Neil Barney, her son, Neil Barney Jr., of Oswego, siblings, Linda Loomis of Liverpool, Harold Morley of Oswego, James Morley of Oswego, two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother, Idella Morley, daughter, Jean Barney, sister, Carol DeSantis, and stepfather, Harold “Spike” Morley.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
