OSWEGO, NY – Patricia A. Bivens, 67, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2016, at the Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton.

Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (France) Armstrong and was a graduate of Oswego Catholic High School.

She was employed as a day care provider at the State University at Oswego.

Patricia enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and collecting angels.

Surviving are three sons, John McHenry of Parish, Mike (Jennifer) McHenry of Oswego and Brian Bivens of Scriba; a daughter, Jennifer Gilbo of Oswego; two sisters, Margaret Rowlee of Oswego and Kathleen Stoner of Oswego; 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Armstrong.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 – 11 a.m., prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
