Paul A. Attwood

OSWEGO – Paul A. Attwood, 77, a resident of Oswego passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 9, 2025

  Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Martha (Hammond).Attwood.

  Paul was a mechanic by trade for his whole life. He had several service stations  in Oswego with his family and also on his own. He always enjoyed working on cars and helping others.

   He was active for many years in the AA program. He received his forty year chip in January 2025 which was one of his greatest accomplishments.

    He loved to travel all around the United States and always have a “Diet Pepsi” in his hand

    He had a long battle with his health and spent his final days at the Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego. He received excellent care from the wonderful caring staff in the C- Wing. The family appreciated it all and is forever grateful.

  Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Linda (Bergman) Attwood, his sister, Jeanne Cella,his children, Erika (Steve) Stolusky, Eric Peterson, Paul L. Attwood, Lisa Jones and loving granddaughter, Samantha Stolusky.

  Per Paul’s wishes there will be no calling hours.

  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if you feel inclined to make donations in his memory consider giving to where he began his sobriety,  Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic, Woodbury 3 Unit, 2 Coulter Rd, Clifton Springs NY 14432
