Paul J. Stanley

OSWEGO – Paul J. Stanley, 68, a resident of Minetto passed away on December 21, 2023, at his home.

Born in Oswego, He was the son of the late Paul and Rita (Sadler) Stanley. He was a graduate of St. Paul’s School and the Oswego Catholic High School, Class of 1973.

He was employed with Miller’s and later retired from Huhtamaki.

He was a cyclist and a weightlifter. He loved riding in his corvettes and spending time with his fur babies.Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former. Susan Johnson, a daughter, Sara (Ian) Weiss of Winston-Salem, N.C., two sisters, Rita Stanley, Mary Ann Dunsford both of Syracuse. mother-in-law Joan “Corky” Johnson and nieces and nephews. He was the proud Wepa of his grandsons, Hudson and Gavin.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 from Christ the Good Shepherd Church.

Burial will be in St.Paul’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oswego Animal Shelter, 621 East Seneca Street, Oswego, N.Y. 13126.
