OSWEGO, NY – Robert E. White, 78, a resident of Oswego passed away on Sunday November 19, 2017, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Fulton, he was a son of the late Ernest and Thelma (Cunningham) White and had attended Fulton schools.
He was a maintenance man at Alcan, Marine Midland Bank and later at the University Hospital in Syracuse.
Mr. White was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1957-65.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially cherished the time he spent with the beloved family dogs.
Surviving are his daughter, Michelle (David) Fellows of Oswego; a son, Michael White of Fulton; three stepdaughters, Kim Pierce of Arizona, Theresa (Earl) Brase of Oswego and Lauri Losurdo of Oswego; two sisters, Lois Walker of Syracuse and Shelia Stone of Florida; a brother, Roger White of Delaware; and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, Harry Ketcham.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:30 – 2 p.m., with a service to follow the hours.
