OSWEGO, NY – Rosamond J. “Roe” Buske, 87, a resident of 412 East River Road in Oswego passed away on Friday Sept. 2, 2011, at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Dyett) LaTulip Sr.
She was a graduate of Oswego High School and the Rochester Business Institute in Oswego.
Roe had been employed as a secretary for the Alcan Corporation for more than 20 years until her retirement in 1985.
She enjoyed all kinds of crafts and the occasional round of golf with her friends.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Donald Buske; her daughter, Donna (David) Reynolds of Oswego; two grandchildren, Colleen Fiore of Chicago and Kathleen (Rick) Weber of Marcellus; one sister, Nan LaTulip of Oswego; one brother, James (Doris) LaTulip of Orange City, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara LaTulip and Mary Harter; and five brothers, Robert, Joseph Jr., John, Arthur and Richard LaTulip.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
