OSWEGO – Salvatore “Sam” Bradford, 77, a resident of Oswego passed away on December 15 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late James and Frances (Cortese) Bradford and was a graduate of the Oswego High School.
He was employed with Nestle’s for thirty- two years.
Mr. Bradford was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to watch NASCAR and play
bingo.
Surviving are his wife of twenty- five years, the former, Sandra Burdick, five children, Joyce Burridge, Salvatore Bradford Jr., Christopher Bradford, Francine Long, Eric Recore, two stepchildren, Wendy Gioia, Dominic Gioia, a brother, a sister and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Kevin and granddaughter, Isabelle.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the Dowdle Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00 with a service to follow the hours.
