Sharon M. Phillips, 75

OSWEGO, NY – Sharon M. Phillips, 75, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Saturday December 14, 2013, at the Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.

Born in Syracuse, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Vivian (Ransier) Hogan and had attended Oswego schools.

Sharon made stained glass and also built mini doll houses.

She collected Madame Alexander Dolls and enjoyed her gardening and flowers.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, George Phillips; two sons, Scott (Lynn) Phillips of Fulton and James “Lee” (Kate) Phillips of Las Vegas; three brothers, Jack Hogan of Syracuse, Terry Hogan of Syracuse and Lance Hogan of Philadelphia; and a sister, Kathryn Ptak of Oswego.

She was predeceased by a son, Darren Patrick Phillips; and her daughter, Shannon Marie Phillips.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home with calling hours from 5-7 prior to the service.
