Suzanne J. Russell

OSWEGO – Suzanne J. Russell, 83, a resident of Oswego passed away on February 4, 2026.

Born in Oswego, She was a daughter of the late Fred and Rita (Mitchell) Tickle and was a graduate of the Oswego High School.

She was a volunteer and later became an employee of the Salvation Army and was a poll watcher in local elections.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved going to the Adirondack Mountains.

Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca Russell of Oswego, two sons, Patrick Russell of Oswego, Chip (Erin) Russell of Alexandra, Va., a sister, Rita (Al Toomey) Tickle of Oswego,  a brother, Patrick (Alyson Inman) Tickle of Oswego, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Russell, daughter, Kristine Thompson, sister, Linda Mills and brother, William Tickle.

Memorial services will be held at the Oswego Alliance Church on Saturday February 14 at 2:00,

The family will greet friends from 1:00- 2:00 at the church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oswego Alliance Church, 371 Thompson Road, Oswego, N.Y.13126 or the Salvation Army 73 West Second Street, Oswego, N.Y. 13126.
