OSWEGO, NY – T. Bernadette Palmitese, 94, a resident of 76 E. Mohawk St., passed away on Sunday Oct. 2, 2011, at the Pontiac Care and Rehab Center.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Corbett) Stacy.
She was a graduate of St. Louis School and Oswego High School.
She was employed with GE for several years.
Bernadette was a member of St. Paul’s Church, was an avid SU football fan and enjoyed going camping with her husband, Fred Palmitese.
Surviving are her sister, Joan Felasco of Liverpool; a brother, Thomas Stacy of Florida; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, George Reed, in 1968; her second husband, Fred Palmitese, in 1991; a sister, Mary Stacy; and two brothers, Edward and James Stacy.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
