OSWEGO, NY – Valencia C. Carvey, 52, a resident of 30 E. Utica St., passed away on Monday Nov. 8, 2010, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Orlando, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Sally (Kimball) Carvey.
She was formerly employed as the manager of Red’s Video and loved to crochet.
Surviving are husband of eight years, Patrick Boyzuck; four children, Jerry (Christy) Pulsifer of Oswego, Mandy Poyneer of Hannibal, Samatha Carvey of New York City and Dalton Carvey of Oswego; six grandchildren, Devin, Hunter, Kristen, Andrew, Hailey and Caden; a brother, Herbert Carvey; and two sisters, Grace (Ronald) Jenkins and Lisa (Johnny) Lopez.
She was predeceased by her brother, Brian Carvey.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
