William W. Kosiewicz

OSWEGO, NY – William W. Kosiewicz, 90, a resident of 106 Sheldon Ave., passed away on Sunday Oct. 2, 2011, at the Sunrise Nursing Home.

Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Victor and Julia (Zimney) Kosiewicz and had attended Oswego schools.

He retired from Flexo Wire after many years of service.

Mr. Kosiewicz served in the United States Army during World War II.

He enjoyed attending races at the Oswego Speedway.

Surviving are his sister, Loretta Karecki of Oswego; nieces, Debbie (Randy) Ritskes of Oswego and Michele (Shelley) Kosiewicz of Louisville, Kentucky; a nephew, Joseph Karecki of Tampa, Fla.; a grandnephew, Steven J. Kunelius (Ritskes) of Oswego; and several other nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Kosiewicz; and his brother, Edward Kosiewicz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Stephen’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
